CHAPTER MEETINGS
Morning Stars Chapter Our Morning Stars Chapter is an active and experienced group of quilters. This Chapter was established in 1992. They enjoy traditional quilting but do not shy away from learning new techniques. Currently they are working on a BOM and enjoy a monthly Play Day.
Morning Stars Chapter meets the first Tuesday of each month. The Play Day is the third Tuesday of each month. 9:30 a.m. West Ouachita Senior Center 1800 N 7th Street West Monroe, LA
Sunshine Chapter The Sunshine Chapter was the Guild's first Chapter, established December 11, 1980 with approximately 30 ladies attending the first meeting. Sunshine members are a diverse group of all ages and experience. They enjoy sharing their love of quilting with others as well as enjoying the fellowship had during Sew Days. They work on quilts for CASA and Pilots for Patients throughout the year.

Moonlight Chapter Moonlight Chapter was established January 8, 1982 as an evening meeting for those that could not attend during the day. The Moonlight Chapter is made up of members who work and those lucky ones who don’t. They enjoy sharing their lives, stories and quilted creations. They encourage each other, admire everyone’s quilts and have a blast learning and growing on the quilting journey. Presently, they have focused on making quilts for CASA and more specifically making men’s quilts using men’s cotton shirts for the Pilots for Patient organization.

Grateful Threads Chapter With a growing membership in 2018, Grateful Threads was born to accommodate additional members who work during the day. Grateful Threads has been an avenue for younger and “new” quilters to find their way into the guild. With a focus on learning new techniques, while still sharing valued generations-old quilting information, the members are engaged monthly with “show and tells”, and block of the month challenges.

Guild Meetings
Guild Business Meetings of the Guild are held three times a year in March, June, September and the Christmas Party in December.
